Tender Notice  for CHILD LABOUR SURVEY in Cooch Behar District under National Child Labour Project;

Sealed tenders are hereby invited from bonafide and authorized dealers for supply of  Power Tiller, Mini Tractor of some selected brand at the Collectorate Office, Cooch Behar or any other selected site nearby, for procurement of the same by the district collectorate. Around 21 nos. of power tiller and 2 mini tractors of selected brand will be purchased within a very short period. The tenderers who have obtained the PAN No. ,TAN No. from the Income Tax Department need not necessary to produce IT Clearence certificate but the tenderers who did not obtain the same yet must produce the IT clearence certificate. No tender paper will be accepted without the S.T. and P.T. clearance certificate. The tender paper will be received till 2:00pm of 23.05.05, in the office chamber of the O/C Election , Cooch Behar.

The tender papers will be opened thereafter on the same date in presence of the tender committee. The tenderers may remain present at the time of opening the tender if they intend to do so. The terms and conditions are appended hereunder which should be kept in mind at the time of filling up of the tender form. The District Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tender(s) or withdraw this tender notice without adducing any reason thereof. The brand will be selected after considering the rates quoted by the tenderers and other terms and condition as noted like guarantee/ warranty period, list of accessories, capacity of Engine, and other details as deemed necessary taking into accounts the opinion of the experts as well.

Rates of Power Tillers of following brand to be quoted :
         1. KAMCO KMB -200
         2. TEXMACO DHANWAN
         3. V.S.T. SHAKTI 130 DI
Rates of Mini Tractors of following brand to be quoted:
         1. HMT
         2. FORD
         3. MAHINDRA
* Terms & Conditions :~
  • The tender must be submitted in a sealed cover and with a broad heading of the subject matter . The name of the Agency should be clearly written on the sealed cover.

  • It should be clearly typed on the letter pad of the agency describing adequate information about the tenderer’s qualification and detail description of the item to be procured.

  • The agencies will have to deposit earnest money of an amount of Rs.10,000 in the form of NSC /Deposit Call Receipt / Deand draft duly pledged in favour of the District Magistrate, Cooch Behar with the tender along with the tender paper. In case of the unsuccessful tenders, earnest money will be released after finalisation of the tenders. In case of successful tenders, the token earnest money will be released on production of written documents after execution of the formal agreement with necessary deposition of security. No interest on the earnest money will be paid.

  • The tenderer must sign on all pages at the bottom as a token of acceptance of every terms and condition unless otherwise specified.

  • Rate should be quoted inclusive of all taxes and incidental charges per unit basis.

  • Sales tax and other taxes to be charged as per norms should be specifically mentioned.

  • All tender rate should be quoted for delivery up to the destination. No separate transportation cost for the purpose will be entertained.

  • Guarantee period for each item and nature and period of after sales and service facilities should be mentioned clearly.

  • The agency should submit evidence that they have supplied instruments at reputed organizations in the past.

  • Copy of current tax clearance certificates (income tax / sales tax / profession tax etc.) and trade license should be attached with the tenders.

  • Letter of acceptance of the tender and supply order will be placed after finalisation of the tender and delivery of the item should be ensured within next 15 days of the placement of the supply order.

  • The District authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all tenders without giving any reason whatsoever.

  • On acceptance of the tender, the concerned party shall remain liable to supply the item unless his earnest money will be forfeited and the 2nd lowest tenderer will get preference.

  • The tenderers must enclose a certificate of authorization of dealership from the parent company.

  • Whether covered under DGS& D rate contract. If yes , the DGS&D rate may also be quoted together with competitive tendered rate.

Tender Notice No. : 1/ Nazarath/ 2005-06 ; Dated: 29th April, 2005

Sealed tenders are invited from reputed and bonafied suppliers for supply of the Stationery Articles ( as per list enclosed ) for the financial year 2005-2006. The tenderers will have to furnish a copy of Trade License and also clearance certificate of P.T. and S.T. with their tender papers. The tenderers who obtained PAN No. from IT Department need not necessary to produce IT Clearance certificate but the tenderers who did not obtain PAN No. must produce a IT clearance certificate. No tender paper will be accepted without the S.T. and P.T. clearance certificate. 

Sealed tender box for dropping tender paper will be kept in the office chamber of NDC,Cooch Behar and the intending tenderers should drop tender papers in the said box within 2:00 p.m. of 8th June, 2005 and the same will be opened on the same date at 2:30 p.m. in the office chamber of theADM(G), Coochbehar. The tenderers may remain present at the time of opening the tender if they intend to do so. The following conditions should be dept in mind at the time of filing the tender :-

* Terms & Conditions :~
  • An earnest money of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) only will have to be deposited in form of Call Deposit / NSC in favour of District Magistrate, Coochbehar and should be enclosed alongwith the tender paper.The earnest money will be considered as the security deposit for the selected tenderers.

  • The rates will have to be quoted both in figures and in words and any scratches errors or overwriting must bear the initial signature of the tenderer on it .Any deviation would make the tender liable for cancellation.

  • The tenderers will have to submit the sample of each tendered item invariably alongwith the tender in separate sealed bag. No articles will be considered for acceptance of rates, without the sample being verified at the time of tender opening and accepted for its quality.

  • The undersigned will not bind himself to accept the lowest tender and has the right to reject any tender or the total tender without assigning any reason what-so-ever at any point of time.

  • Any other information , if any , may be had from the District Nezarath Section, Coochbehar during the office hours on all working days.

  • Not more than one tender would be accepted from one bonafide / reputed dealer or supplier.

  • The articles should be supplied within seven days from the date of receipt of the formal order, failing which the security money will be forfeited.

  • The Registered co-operative society who intends to participate in the tender must submit the following documents with the tender papers.
        a) NOC from ARCS       b) Last Audited report      c) Last AGM’s resolution

  • The Tenderer will have to submit sample of the stationery articles for which he has submitted the rates on which the name and address of the agency is to be clearly mentioned which will be inspected by the Tender Committee. For the supplier/ agency successful it will be legal bindings on him to supply the articles as per specified and accepted quality/ brand with the samples kept as reference. The authority reserves the right to take legal action at any point of time for any deviation of supply of materials as according to the above specified clause.
